*Ting Tong!*
I went to get the door and guess what greeted me?
The moment I held it, I remembered that I had registered for the contest ‘Scribble your heart away’ by Matrikas Paper Products. Excited, I went inside and tore open the packet and saw the spine of 2 books.
‘Wow! Two!?’ I pulled out one. It wasn’t as big as I had expected. I peeked in.
‘There is more!’ I pulled out the second book. Shoved my hand inside the package and pulled another.
I looked inside and there was one more! 😀 Like a magician who pulls out things from the vacuum, I pulled them all out. Not one, not two, but four of their lovely products! 🙂
They also had a personalised letter enclosed inside. And it has been personally signed.
So firstly, hats off! Matrikas Paper Products for the efforts taken to pick these products, type personalised letters and signing them personally. Instead of typing my name, you could have easily typed ‘Dear customer’, and sent out those letters. But you made me feel valued. 🙂
Secondly, they had asked in our registration forms who our idols are. I clicked the option Shirdi Sai Baba. And that explains the diary with Sai Baba’s picture. Isn’t that really thoughtful?
There was an ‘other’ option too for those who didn’t want to opt any of the mentioned personalities.
I opened each of those Journals one at a time. Whenever I open a book, the first thing I do is smell it. So that is what I did here too. And it smelled of all lovely things. School days that brought a sense of anticipation and novelty, libraries with hundreds of books, oil paints and childhood. The paper is very thick and of high quality.
For people who love writing, a good stationary is a huge turn on. For me, everything from the cover to the last page counts a lot. I get excited when I see a beautiful book-cover, feel the thick stationary on my fingers and write on a smooth paper. Matrika Paper Products is in fact perfect when it comes to all these aspects – they are beautiful in and out! 🙂
What more? They just sent me a journal, a 6 subjects note-book, a spiritual diary and a kind of note-pad. They just took care of a person’s overall requirements at home and office. Well thought of Matrika!
